Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what data the “Umma Plus” mobile application (the “App”) processes, for what purpose, and on what legal basis. The data controller is Umma Plus (“we”). By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Data we process
- Device location. With your explicit permission, the App uses your device coordinates to determine the nearest city and calculate accurate prayer times. Coordinates are used solely to match a city and are not used to track your movements. You can revoke this permission in iOS settings at any time.
- Selected city and schedule requests. The selected city identifier and prayer-time requests are sent to our server to provide functionality and to generate anonymized usage statistics.
- Feedback data. If you contact us through the support form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you provide, in order to process and respond to your request.
- Technical data. When establishing a secure connection, a device session identifier is processed; your IP address is processed to protect the service from abuse (rate limiting) and for security logging.
- Analytics and crash reports. The App uses third-party services (Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase, Crashlytics)) to collect anonymized usage statistics and automatic crash reports. These services may process technical device identifiers and app-performance data.
2. Purposes of processing
Data is processed solely to: provide App features (prayer-time calculation, city selection); respond to support requests; ensure the security and stability of the service; and improve the App based on anonymized analytics.
3. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent (e.g. location access, submitting feedback) and on our legitimate interest in keeping the service operational and secure.
4. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared only with: infrastructure providers (server hosting); and the third-party analytics and crash-reporting services listed above. Such providers process data on our behalf and are obliged to protect it.
5. Retention
Data is retained no longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by applicable law. Support requests are retained for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up communication.
6. Security
Data transmitted between the App and the server is protected by encryption (TLS plus application-level session encryption). We apply organizational and technical measures to protect data from unauthorized access.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and you may withdraw consent previously given. The App does not use user accounts. To exercise your rights, contact us at ufa102pro@icloud.com.
8. Children
The App is not intended to knowingly collect data from children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals below the age set by applicable law without the consent of their legal guardians.
9. International data transfers
Server infrastructure and third-party services may be located in different jurisdictions. By transmitting data, you agree to its processing in accordance with this Policy and applicable law (Российской Федерации).
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page together with its effective date.
